I had the honor of teaching a few of my colleagues to shoot on Friday afternoon. We took our lunch time, and spent it at the local range, American Classic Marksman ( 5305 Peachtree Industrial Blvd
Norcross, GA 30092), and I had the opportunity to share with two women the joy of handgun shooting. I was asked by others at my office to take some photos of the women shooting, and while I was doing so, captured an excellent image of the weapon in full recoil, and the ejected casing flying through the air…
I would like to say “Thanks” to the women who allowed me to share my hobby. I hope you both had a great time!
I’m SOOOOOO ready to go shooting.
I’ve had a bad week.
Really bad. I need to blow off some steam.
I am going to print out several pages of targets that I want to shoot at, just for a cathartic release.
Tomorrow afternoon can’t come soon enough.
I haven’t posted in FOREVER, or so it seems. I’ve been shooting several times, and I’m currently trying to find out the point at which my Kimber will simply cease to function without me cleaning it. I’ve put almost 1000 rounds through it without cleaning, and while it looks filthy, it’s still firing, cycling, and pounding away without missing a beat.
I’ll post some pics here soon.
Now this is an interesting weapon.
